Today, Meghan and Harry were surrounded by friends and family to celebrate the christening of their son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.

The ceremony took place at the private chapel in Windsor Castle. Guests included Prince Charles and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Doria Ragland, Lady Sarah McCorquodale, Lady Jane Fellowes, and Harry’s childhood nanny, Tiggy Legge-Bourke.
For today’s very special occasion, the Duchess of Sussex wore a bespoke white dress from Dior.

For those asking, Meghan’s sister-in-law, Kate, wore a dress by Stella McCartney, a pleated pillbox hat by Juliette Boterill, Gianvito Rossi pumps and Princess Diana’s Collingwood pearl and diamond earrings. Camilla wore an Anna Valentine dress, Philip Treacy hat and Chanel pumps alongside a favourite four-stranded necklace with round diamond clasp. Oscar de la Renta custom-made Doria’s gorgeous peach outfit, and we thought it was a stunning look on the new grandmother!
What did you think of Meghan’s look for Archie’s christening?
Bello il vestito bianco ma volevo vedere megan in piedi
Meghan looked radiant!…Archie is a Beautiful baby! So Happy for Harry and Meghan!
You might want to start addressing the Duke and Duchess of Sussex by their titles at least once in the article. the official standard is, you address them at first mention by their titles and then you may use their given name afterwards. This page is very casual to Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan, and shows very little respect. You don’t show them the respect their offices command.
Hi Vinnie,
We have actually an entire page that was created in May 2018 which documents why we use “Meghan Markle” and “Meghan” in our articles and would continue to do so post-Royal wedding.
It’s obviously something that means a lot to you given you took the time to come to our site, read our content and then make a comment – so we hope you’ll take the time to also understand why we use the naming conventions that we do. It has absolutely nothing to do with “lack of respect their offices command” but more about the subject matter, SEO algorithms and a creative direction decision taken.
If you’d like to discuss further, we’d love to chat – you can e-mail us at any time at [email protected]
Have a great rest of your weekend!
– Amanda & Christine
I’m guessing this is your first time in this site because you obviously aren’t aware that “Meghan’s Mirror” is home to the largest catalogue of Meghan’s fashion, and lifestyle posts from the now defunct “The Tig”, and the admin of this site is regularly contacted by the media for her impressive knowledge of Meghan and her unique fashion style! As for calling TRH The Duke & Duchess of Sussex by their formal titles, then you would also be at fault since “Prince Harry” is NOT an official title, given Harry is his nickname, not birth name. Meghan is also not to be formally addressed as “Duchess Meghan”! Her official titles are HRH The Duchess of Sussex, or HRH Princess Henry of Wales! My point is that I have no idea why you would find anything on a fan page dedicated to Meghan to be anything remotely close to being irreverent or disrespectful! Those of us who follow this site love Meghan and I’d venture to say are fairly above par on knowledge of the BRF, including offical titles, and line of succession. There are many sites that are dedicated to tearing down Meghan, but this is not one of them! Perhaps if you start following the posts on MM you will see the true intention here is only positive and filled with both love and respect for Meghan and her amazing journey in life! Blessing to you Vinnie!
Ha! I love this reply, Susan.
I want more pictures to see the whole dress😍😩 she looks beautiful!
Also I think she’s wearing her Dior pumps.
such a Beautiful baby
Think the earrings are the same ones she wore to their wedding, the round Cartier ones.
Is she is wearing her wedding earrings!? The entire family looks stunning today.
She is! We loved to see them again – have a feeling they will be special pieces she will turn to for events like this over the year!
Meghan looked radiant!…Beautiful family! So nice to see Harry’s Aunt’s there!
God bless the royal family and God bless little Archie Harrison. Another little miracle to come into the world. He is beautiful and I am not surprised looking at the parents both inside and out. Meghan you are a woman after my own heart. Successful actress , class all around and now you are the Duchess of Sussex. And you do it all so effortlessly. It’s as if you knew. You truly are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen and by far, the most elegant!
The Duchess looks very elegant,, it would be nice to see a photo highlighting more of her outfit. It s a gorgeous group photo. I love the fact that Diana’s sisters are included, that speaks volumes.
Little Archie is adorable – those cheeks! Meghan and Harry look so happy – Meghan is glowing!! I hope we see more pictures – similar to the one of Kate/giggling Louis from his own christening. I am impressed you ID’d her shoes – I can barely see them!
My eyes immediately went to Kate in the photo! She looks amazing. Love the pops of color. Doria looks incredible, as always. What an awesome color. She makes “my daughter married into the British royal family” look easy! So sweet to see Diana’s sisters there.
What a lovely day for the Sussex’s! Little Archie is just adorable and a handsome mix of Harry and Meghan!
I really like the color coordination between the ladies, the pinks, creams and white really pop with the green and gold background of the Green Room. Doria has my vote for the best outfit of the day! The coral pink color looks stunning on her and the turban/wrap adds something very special to her look. Does anyone know anything about the brooch she’s wearing?
I’m really liking the new site! Thanks MM for all of you hard work in making this site such a great place to come and enjoy all of Meghan’s great fashion!
You look lovely!
Both the Duchess and her mother, Doria, looked classic and elegant. Not keen on Prince Harry’s shoes for this photo.
Such a treat to catch sight of that gorgeous baby at last! A little tricky to comment on what Meghan wore since her outfit is eclipsed by the magnificent christening robe. All we can see is a beautifully cut neckline and a well-fitted bodice from the rear. I have every faith that Dior would have produced something classic and stunning for our duchess when seen fully.
Interesting that she chose the same as Kate in wearing white to mark out the special day and chime with her wedding outfit. I love seeing those fabulous earrings, they can’t come out too often for me. And the hat looks a classic choice for a christening. That’s a lovely group photo, love how the colours are balanced either side of the cream-toned family centre, with pinks from Kate and Doria, and blue suits from Charles and William. And the intimate Sussex family portrait is just darling!
I think Meghan looked so beautiful in her custom Dior and creamy/frilly little hat! Her sleek bun and gorgeous Cartier earrings were a perfect choice to compliment her total look! Doria looked AMAZING! And I’m thrilled to bits that Lady Jane and Lady Sarah were BOTH included in the christening photos! Diana would be so proud of Harry and over the moon with her new grandson! Archie is the spitting image of Meghan! I have followed the BRF for over thirty years and watched Prince Harry grow up in the worlds view, and as much as I’d love for Archie to look like his father (and the Spencer side of the family) he looks nothing like him. Either way, Archie is just a little angel in this beautiful christening gown! Much love and best wishes to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and their first born, Master Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor!
This is a wonderful photo, isn’t it?
That baby! I actually think Archie resembles his maternal grandmother, with much fairer skin, of course.
When I look at this photo, I think again of what this woman has accomplished. It cannot have been, or be easy to have been brought into that family, and here she is, doing it, with grace.
So grateful to this site for it having consistent, positive coverage of The Duchess and all that surrounds her.
Most of us understand that the name of the site, and calling her by her first name means no disrespect.
Selfishly, I wish there had been more photos so we could have seen her entire outfit. But she looks absolutely radiant! I always love a cream ensemble on her. In fact, one of my favorites from her pregnancy was an all cream look as well. And by the way, isn’t Doria just gorgeous in peach!?!?! Seems she included this shade in her outfit for the cookbook launch last fall, and I thought it was beautiful on her then as well…
