After a busy morning at the Nelson Mandela Awards in New York City, Meghan headed out for a lunch at the Crosby Hotel with activist Gloria Steinem.

It is reported that Ms. Steinem has recruited Meghan in her fight to get US Congress to ratify the Equal Rights Amendment – a proposed amendment to the United States Constitution designed to guarantee equal legal rights for all American citizens regardless of sex.

What did you think of Meghan’s look for a summer lunch?
The Duchess looks nice, but I don’t think these shorts are very flattering, especially with the high heel shoes. Loafers or flats IMO would have looked better.
