Harry and Meghan this morning visited PS132 in Harlem, New York to meet with students and staff. PS 123, which also serves as shelters for families without permanent homes, was one of the areas Meghan and Harry wanted to focus on during this trip.
Meghan and Harry met with about a dozen second-graders to show off a three-dimensional flower mural they had created. Then Meghan read “The Bench”, her children’s book.
After a day of neutrals for events yesterday, Meghan stepped out in a bright, bold colour today. The red look featured a new designer for Meghan, Loro Piana, known for their luxurious fabrics.
Coat: Loro Piana ‘Loreen’ Coat
Trousers: Loro Piana ‘Elias’ pants
Belt: Loro Piana ‘Eyelet’ belt.
Heels: Manolo Blahnik ‘Toro 105’ Suede Pumps
Bracelets: Cartier ‘Love’ Bracelet
Love Meghan’s look today? We asked the team to come up with some of their favourite #MirrorMeg options:
What did you think of Meghan’s look for the PS132 visit?

It’s good to see them out again after such a long hiatus from public eye. But this outfit is just a miss for me. Probably my least favorite thing she’s ever worn. I hope we see some more classic Meghan looks before their NY weekend ends.
Emma says
I love the color but I’m not a fan of this look to such a poor neighborhood and school, and all these jewels. I would’ve thought she’d wear something less expensive, less flashy, fewer jewels and such.
Sunni says
Good point – her Cartier bracelet alone is worth thousands of dollars
Ava Pittman says
The colour is lovely, beautiful, rich and vibrant, but that is where it ends for me. I don’t like this outfit at all. I thought the same about the jewellery, IMO it would be more appropriate to have it toned down, due to the poor neighborhood and accompanying school. It was fabulous to see all the school children out welcoming the couple.

I agree with you and I actually thought Meghan would be aware of this and would’ve toned it down. I have to say I was surprised that she chose to flash her Cartier jewels in Harlem.
Laura W. says
This is a big miss. While the colour is lovely, the style looks like oversized pyjamas. Also such expensive clothing and jewels are rather insensitive in such a poor area of NYC.

While I understand the comments regarding Meghan’s choice of wearing her jewelry, I beg to differ. Has anyone thought about the inspiration some , if not all of those children ,may get to see someone of both their caliber come to see them and what they can have ( if they want ) achieve regardless of where they start and where they end up ?
I personally love the color ( monochromatic ) style. It is outside of her usual color scheme and that for me represent growth and change. Love the coat

Love the color and their mission. http://www.motownsavvy.com

Why no posting of the Concert outfits?
