With Meghan and Harry’s wedding coming very soon, there have been detailed reports about the guest list, the venue, the dress rumours… But there has been very little information about just what might be on the menu at the Royal Wedding. For a foodie like Meghan, this is definitely something she’s given some thought to.
We thought we’d turn to an expert – a royal expert at that – and reached out to Carolyn Robb, who was a Personal Chef to TRH Prince Charles & Princess Diana, HRH Prince William & HRH Prince Harry for over a decade, to give us her sense on what might go into a the menu at Meghan and Harry’s royal wedding.
We asked Carolyn on her thoughts on what might make up Meghan and Harry’s wedding menu. Here is what Carolyn had to say:
I have gone for a British California mix of ideas for the wedding lunch; it is a meal that is light, colourful, really healthy and I think is a good fit for Harry and Meghan! The food is simple, seasonal and will look very enticing on the plate. All fresh produce could be locally sourced from small producers – with the inclusion of many organic products.
Doesn’t it sound delicious?

And the all important wedding cake? Carolyn suggests a Ginger & Vanilla Cake with Mascarpone & Wild Berries, decorated with edible spring flowers. She adds:
The cake is a departure from a traditional wedding cake – it is lighter, more contemporary and looks very pretty!
What do you think might be on Harry & Meghan’s wedding menu? We can’t wait to see what will be released or shared! We already know the venue will be an amazing backdrop…
