Hooray – its a boy! The world was delighted by the news that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed a healthy baby boy. We’re dreaming of tiny blue hand knit booties and cozy, soft blankets wrapped around the baby, held in Meghan’s arms – oh, babies are so wonderful! As we eagerly await the first glimpse of the little bundle of joy, we can’t help but wonder – what will the little Baby Boy Sussex wear?
We’ve teamed up with online designer children’s clothing retailer, Melijoe, to choose the best looks for Baby Sussex’s closet. Melijoe, known as the “Net-a-Porter for kids,” features some of Meghan’s favorite brands, royal-worthy traditional outfits, and some cozy closet staples perfect for the new baby.
Melijoe selected several looks for baby boys on their website, and even had some styling advice for Harry & Meghan for the new Earl of Dumbarton.
If Meghan and Harry gave birth to a baby boy, we’d be turning to the great classics of baby clothing. Bonpoint, Tartine et Chocolat, Burberry… we imagine the Royal Baby to have a traditional and comfortable closet, all in sky blue, whites, navy blue and beige. Inside the Little Lord’s closet? Sailor jackets but also pretty bermudas, elegant shirts, polo shirts, suits and elegant ensembles that would be hard to choose between. For nighttime, we bet the Royal Baby will sleep tightly in embroidered pajamas and delicate luxury bodysuits.

Meghan sticks to her favorite brands for her own style, so we’d love to see her choose those same brands for her new baby boy! Did you know Stella McCartney, Burberry, and BOSS all have baby lines?! How cute is that?! We’d love to see Baby Sussex in a tiny Stella McCartney number – maybe they do bespoke mummy-baby pieces!

It’s a bit weird to use the word ‘style’ for a baby since they wear whatever their parents dress them in. That said, it will be interesting to see what clothes Baby Sussex wears.
