Pictures emerged today of a new initiative launched by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. The mental health project is a text messaging helpline that supports people in crisis called ‘Shout’.

The pictures are from several months ago – possibly as far back as November 2018 given Meghan’s pregnancy – but we got a glimpse of them today as the Palace obviously held off on their release until Baby Archie had arrived.
Meghan’s look was the casual, cool style we have come to expect from her at these events – except with some texture added by including a pair of leather leggings! Meghan is no stranger to the style (she’s worn them several times in the past and released a pair in her Reitmans collection) but they were a great ‘neutral’ under what can only be described as a fabulous long, embellished coat.

For the look alike coat-sold out on that website, but I found it on UK Ebay. To get to the USA it will cost you $83.67.
I love that Meghan is wearing leather leggings while pregnant!!! For some reason it really speaks to me that she isn’t going to change her own sense of style or fashion just because she’s pregnant or because she’s now a Duchess. I think seeing women stay true to themselves through all that life has to offer is very inspiring!
And a big kudos to the Sussex’s and the Cambridge’s for this fantastic initiative!! I can see it reaching so many, especially young people whose most used form of communication is texting.

I don’t think the coat is from William’s Vintage Reese Witherspoon was pictures wearing the same coat so it might be from Reese’s clothing line Draper James that hasn’t been released yet.?
