For Meghan’s last night before becoming “HRH Meghan”, she and her mother Doria checked-in to the Cliveden House Hotel, a luxurious hotel about a 20 minute drive away from Windsor Castle. When the duo arrived, Meghan told reporters she was feeling “Wonderful”. No wedding nerves here!
Meghan and Doria will spend the evening together in one of the hotel’s stunning guest rooms, and will then prepare for the wedding and make the journey to St. George’s Chapel in the morning. We love the Lady Astor Suite, billed as one of the finest guest suites in all of England, but perhaps Meghan might also stay in the aptly named Prince of Wales suite…

More on the Cliveden House Hotel since it’s just so pretty. The stunning property has an incredibly rich history (Just two examples: The property was built in 1666 by the 2nd Duke of Buckingham as a gift to his mistress and it was the site of a 1961 summer party where John Profumo met Christine Keeler, whose the affair almost destroyed Harold Macmillan’s Tory government)

Meghan and her mother look lovely! The navy blue dress looks beautiful on Meghan and the light grey pumps are a nice twist on the neutral shoe.

Now I see where Meghan gets her beauty, her mom is gorgeous! I’m so glad to see that Doria keep her nose stud in, I like that she’s true to herself and isn’t going to change even for the Queen, another great quality Meghan obviously inherited. I love both dresses and Meghan’s soft grey shoes are to die for!!!
I can only imagine mother and daughter changing into some comfy yoga clothes, hitting the mat for a relaxing session and then maybe taking a stroll around this stunning property. I bet once Meghan’s close friends arrive it will be time for a wonderful dinner and a few bottles of Tignanello, then off to bed for a good nights rest (hopefully she can sleep).

Her mum’s dress sense is so savvy, the circle of the scarf through her hair echoed in the bracelet as well as the neat cropped jacket. And I can’t get over that Doria also rocks a great pair of heels!

I love the Roland Mouret dress. Again, it shows that one can dress appropriately while not being boring/matronly/sexless. I am not a huge fan of the pumps, mostly because when someone wears a solid dress I like seeing interesting shoes, like with a pattern. I will echo the comments about Meghan’s mom…she looks very chic.

Wonderful look as usual. Roland Mouret is fantastic at designing dresses that have the perfect amount of feminine sex appeal. I’m adding a stay at Cliveden House on my bucket list. How majestic!!
