With Meghan Mania now in full swing, we have been excited to see that Meghan’s style is getting attention from the international media and setting new records for items selling out, websites crashing and for stylist hearts set afire.

Part of the excitement for s who have been following Meghan’s style for some time is that everyone else is finally seeing what we have all this time. Meghan’s classic chic, effortless style is now on everyone’s lips and the look that everyone is clamouring to incorporate into their closets.

One of the questions that we are most often asked now that Meghan’s style is everywhere is what will be next. What will be next on her style radar, and how can we look at what she loves and guess what the next big thing will be in the Meghan Markle style world. So guess we will!

Meghan carried a handbag on her first “royal engagement” and we loved how she already set a new style precedent in doing so, seeing as her sister-in-law-to-be, the Duchess of Cambridge, doesn’t carry them very frequently. Meghan carried a bag by an Edinburgh-based brand and we thought it a fitting nod to her new British homeland. It leads us to believe that Meghan will almost assuredly continue to carry handbags as she grows in her royal roles, and leads us to one brand in particular we think she might gravitate to, DeMellier or even fashion backpacks which are growing in popularity.

Already with a strong following within the royal family (Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie and Pippa Middleton are fans) as well as having a very strong charitable component (for every bag they sell they fund a set of live saving vaccines and treatments aimed to save the life of a child in need in collaboration with orphan charity SOS Children’s Villages), in 2016 they were named by the British Luxury Association (Walpole) as one the Brands of Tomorrow recognising their commitment to innovation, craftsmanship and the highest standards of quality. So if we had to guess, we think London-based DeMellier is likely to become Meghan’s next favourite handbag brand!
