Meghan was spotted at the Polo Bar, Ralph Lauren’s NYC restaurant, with friends Markus Anderson and Jessica Mulroney.
Meghan looked cozy and chic in an all-black ensemble, ideal for NYC. New Yorkers are known for their love of black outfits, especially in the wintertime. Meghan mixed and matched pieces from her wardrobe, like her Victoria Beckham coat and HATCH Collection jeans, with a pair of trendy boots. She must really love her Stella McCartney bag – she owns it in two colors!

What did you think of Meghan’s look for her dinner out in NYC?
Are we sure that she’s wearing jeans? I can’t tell from this picture but it does look like the boots aren’t covered by pants.
Either way I’m happy that she’s able to spend some time with her close friends, in a city she loves so much!
I think she’s wearing the same skinny jeans from the afternoon and it’s tucked inside the boots.

Hi, I was just noticing that Meghan’s coat has 3 buttons on the sleeve and the Victoria Beckham coat has 5 buttons on the sleeve. Are you positive it’s the same coat?
I much prefer these boots to the nude pumps from earlier. I like the smoky eye look, too, although she could really lay off the blush/bronzer/highlighter. She always talked about how she likes a natural look but in the last few months she has been kinda overdoing her cheek region.
Her bag in the picture looks more structured than the bag you have linked. Also the hardware of her bag is different. It looks similar in style but not exactly. Is it from a different season or maybe from an upcoming one?

I noticed that too Danielle, you can certainly see how happy he is. So wonderful for her to have that love and support especially at this time in her life. The theme song for “Cheers” comes to mind: “sometimes you wanna go where everybody knows your name, and they’re always glad you came.”
MM, thanks for all the inspo. I appreciate your team’s work and enjoy your special posts. Is so true that New Yorkers are known for their love of black outfits. I would like to add that the same goes for the rest of northeastern USA. As I have commented previously I’m currently residing at a nearby state and it’s the same thing (especially if you go to Boston, MA) you’ll see most professionals wearing dark clothing and when we want to dress up, most likely we’ll choose a black ensemble – wether is winter or not. A friend of mine always says : “when in doubt, wear black.” lol. That’s why I don’t criticize when DoS wears dark clothing, I just think it must be a regional/cultural thing and I “live and let live” and mostly just browse for inspo.
As for Meghan’s outfit today, I like the whole ensemble especially her bag. Waiting for MM’s options.
