Meghan and Harry attended the wedding of Harry’s good friend Tom Inskip and Laura Hughes-Young together this weekend in Jamaica. It marks an important step in the couple’s relationship as the first “public” appearance as a couple.

The dress appears to either be a mix of several of the dresses from the Erdem Pre-Fall 2017 collection.
There are many photos from the event:

Looks heavily photoshopped. Face it, she is not royal material.
Heard on good source that they broke up in December. What gives?

Thanks for taking the time to visit our site and leave a comment, Lee. We are going to have to agree to disagree on a couple of your points, but think the only people who truly know the status of Meghan and Harry’s relationship is Meghan and Harry themselves. We will remain optimistic that they have found a positive, fulfilling and happy relationship until we hear otherwise.
Alexandra says
What part looks photoshopped?
And they obviously didn’t break up, so I guess your source isn’t reliable after all!
Ann says
Photoshopped? Not at all. Not sure what your prejudices are against Miss Markle but your negative comments cause me to wonder why you are on this page at all. Just out here trolling with your negativity?

There were 200 invited guest + resort staff at the wedding and reception. If Meghan Markle wasn’t present, but there were pics showing she was, someone(or several someone’s) would have cried foul. Loudly.

Totally agree that Meghan is far from royal material, but for slightly different reasons: These pictures portray the real Meghan. If you look at her expressions, they vary from showing intense jealousy when Harry talks to another woman (and for no reason; he is clearly just having a conversation), intense vanity (Meghan is always focussing on her own looks, flicking her hair and paying little attention to what others are saying), borderline personality disorder traits (the somewhat demented, intense look on her face as Harry addresses another), her narcissistic traits – of which there are many (note that she is severely telling off the black waiter and in a very angry manner, which is telling him “Hey, I am better than you, and you should do whatever I want”. Her hand gesture to the waiter is absolutely one of immense superiority, and then you can see that Harry has succeeded in pulling her back. These photos show the true personality of Meghan Markle, and I couldn’t care less what her dress looks like! I feel very sorry for Harry, because he is a vulnerable, genuine human being. As far as the royal family are concerned, Meghan won’t make any difference to them. She will be a mere foot-note in the royal family’s ancient history. The queen already knows that Meghan is in this for the fame and glory. But the queen is a very astute woman and knows it’s best to keep the enemy safe!

I really like this dress! It reminds me (just a little) of the floral Erdem gown Kate Middleton wore for the 100 Women in Hedge Funds dinner. If this dress is a mix of several styles, do we think designers are going to start making Meghan bespoke pieces for royal public appearances? As their relatonship becomes more serious, I would think designers would want to have the chance to dress her. Of course, she’s already famous. I just think that a lot of designers love to have a relationship with the royals – like Kate with Sarah Burton.

Great question, Bobbi Jo! We have asked the designer to confirm if it was a bespoke piece or if it was a version that was perhaps not shown or made available during the pre-fall shows. As soon as we know anything new, we’ll share the update! Either way, it’s a great nod by Meghan to a Canadian-born designer who now operates out of London.
As for the future… We are definitely seeing an increased interest in what Meghan is wearing, and we would strongly speculate that should the relationship progress, the interest in her style choices will continue to be of increasing interest as well – very similar to what happened with Kate.
We believe that Meghan was a stylish woman before her relationship with Prince Harry – and will remain one afterwards should the relationship not work out – but having the publicity of the relationship has really thrust her style to the front page of papers and have allowed people to notice it.
🙂

Bobbi Jo I knew it had to be Erdem because it reminded me so much of the dress Kate wore to which you are referring! I am also really curious if this was a bespoke piece.

She’s lovely and I hope it works out for them. Can’t wait for first pics of Kate and Meghan together! Thanks for the blog.

Thanks, Rebecca! We appreciate your support! xo

Although I was unsure of Meghan at first she is starting to wear on me, so it would be cool to see Kate and Meghan together in pictures!

I see you’ve taken down the airport and balcony picture! I guess it was too incriminating.

Hi Media Meg,
Thanks for taking the time to visit our site and leave a comment!
We were working out licensing rights with our photography provider. Now that those issues are resolved, the photos have returned.
Have a great day!

Have you heard from Erdem yet? Not sure that the dress is Erdem, although I can see why Meghan would be happy to style herself after Catherine. Catherine is so elegant, and it would be understandable for Meghan to aspire to be like her. I am not sure that there will ever be a photo of the two of them together, however; their paths do not seem likely to cross in the future.
admin says
No confirmation yet from Erdem! They rarely make comment though, so not surprising. We’ve heard some theories floating around that it’s actually an Erdem maxi-skirt with a blouse and not a full bespoke dress. This makes WAY more sense to us, as a bespoke Erdem for an event like this would be highly unusual.

Judging by his statement in November 2016 regarding Meghan Markle, Prince Harry is terrified that any hope of the relationship between him and Meghan developing smoothly to the desired conclusion, will be hindered or even killed by too much media intrusion. He is afraid that Meghan will be put off in the manner of other fledgling relationships in the past. So, I am not happy when unauthorised (long lenses) pictures are everywhere and I suspect that the reason for Prince Harry looking so unhappy and discomfited in Jamaica, causing Meghan to attempt to calm him down/comfort him (at least that is the impression I immediately had upon seeing some of the images and interaction between Harry and Meghan at the wedding of Harry’s friend Tom Inskip), was because he became aware of the media/long-lens-intrusion almost from the moment they exited the Church. However, although I do not approve of media intrusion in general, I must confess that these images have whetted the appetite for more. I so want Prince Harry to be happy, for Harry, along with Her Majesty are two of my favourite Royals, who have earned my respect. To me, these two individuals though high born, typify what Rudyard Kipling wrote in his poem “If”: “…If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue, Or walk with Kings—nor lose the common touch….”. Prince Harry and The Queen seem to be approachable but, somehow, one never forgets the status of HM or Harry because of their quiet dignity. They do not appear to turn on fake smiles, fake charm or show fake interest when meeting and communicating with individuals. They generate warmth and friendliness, so much so that one has to be careful not to forget oneself in their presence. Moreover, Prince Harry is involving himself with causes that will effect real and obvious changes to the lives of individuals because he wants to and not because he feels obliged to do so in order to keep up appearances through what is called “Royal Engagements”, some of which are, in my view, merely PR stunts to keep some of the anti-monarchy dissidents happy, including of course those media outlets which rely upon such appearances (of certain Royals whom they view as photogenic only) because they want to profit financially in increased sales of newspapers and magazines. The point is, whether or not one approves of the monarchy, many such individuals will seek to acquire whatever information is available to suit their purposes.
Now, Prince Harry has found and fallen for a young lady in Meghan Markle whose mission in life has been to make a real difference and to change lives for good. He, Prince Harry has “hit the jackpot” for, apart from her altruistic zeal, Meghan is intelligent, educated, pretty, personable, attractive and a stylish dresser. (In fact, because of your site, I am in the process of acquiring for my own daughter a coat worn by Meghan from Sentaler). She has not misused or neglected her education and works in/straddles Hollywood and the real world. Because of this, she has an understanding of the world which, so far, few, if any, previous would-be Royal wives have demonstrated. Already, Meghan is more than “arm candy”. She is designed for the world stage upon which graciously she can more than hold her own and, should their relationship result in a marriage (please, Lord let it be so; and soon), she will be a bonus for the Royal Family, UK PLC, the Commonwealth of Nations and beyond. I believe that in their heart of hearts her critics know this as a truth, which they fear, because of hatred born of blind prejudice which is leading their commentary. Thankfully, there is such a thing as forgiveness and redemption so, in time, all will end well.
PS:I sent an email to info@meghansmirror.com before I realised the opportunity to leave a comment here as my previous instagram comment/post to shoplikemeghan failed. But, do you know the saying “out of evil cometh good”? Well, some posters leaving nasty comments on Daily Mail online led me indirectly to this site. For those fond of and are supporting Meghan Markle, you are a breath of fresh air. Keep up the good work.

Hi Patricia,
We jut got your e-mail (Our inboxes are overflowing!!) and will reply to you in more detail, but wanted to leave a quick note of THANK YOU for taking the time to comment and share your positive thoughts and experiences related to Meghan and her style. We appreciate it so very much… And can we say that we are very jealous of your daughter and her new Sentaler coat?! 🙂
Have a wonderful day, and we’ll talk soon!

Thank you, please keep up the good work and had I been younger and blessed with the attributes of my daughter (or Ms Markle) I would be acquiring the Sentaler coat for myself too.
Have a nice day.

Disappointed in all of you says
Wow. I see that these comments were written almost five years ago. I’m interested to see how many of you have changed your opinion and if you now consider yourselves “racist” for doing so? Mayhap think before you pull the racism card in the future. I, an African American woman, would greatly appreciate it.
