It is no surprise to hear that Meghan Markle has amazing style. Her shoes and handbags are so enviable, but her great taste is exhibited not just in her closet but on her walls, too.

On Instagram, Meghan Markle shared this stunning framed Inslee Fariss character study. The piece was hung in her guest room, which featured a creamy, neutral palette. The character study series featured portraits using simple, clean lines and elegant brushstrokes to create timeless female figures. In short, it is uber chic.

Inslee Fariss’ “Carousel” figure study

Inslee Fariss is a well-regarded modern artist with a cult following on Instagram. She remembers the day that Meghan purchased the piece and Inslee herself aided in its departure to Meghan’s Toronto home. Her Figure Study series features elegant female forms and are available as custom pieces. Meghan’s piece likely retailed for around $620 and was very similar to the “Carousel” print seen above.

On Instagram, Inslee shared: “[Meghan Markle’s figure study, before it left the studio. This was taken a couple years ago when I had no idea: who she was, that she would buy this piece, that she would meet prince Harry and fall in love, that countless kind strangers from around the world and every person I’ve ever met would later forward me articles about how she had it displayed in her guest bedroom. Isn’t it funny how life turns out?”

We can imagine how Inslee felt when she learned that Meghan Markle loved her artwork. Hearing that someone as inspiring and influential as Meghan appreciates your work, and supported your business, must have been a huge confidence boost! And Inslee obviously loves Meghan, too – she recently created a print of Meghan and Kate together (we also like to imagine they are BFFs)!
