A new baby brings with it so much excitement, and the impending arrival of Meghan and Harry’s royal baby has us extra excited. So excited, in fact, that we couldn’t wait to partner up again with our friends at The Right Hand Gal for a very exciting Royal Baby themed Giveaway!
There are so many questions surrounding Meghan’s pregnancy – when will the baby be born? Lindo Wing or NHS – or perhaps a home birth? Will they chose a classic name, or something trendy? We know that Meghan and Harry are a modern couple, and as royals they are setting the standard for a 21st century royal family. They are choosing progressive charitable causes and making waves in their official engagements. What does that mean for their role as parents? Will we see a Princess Violet, or a Prince Luca?
Baby Sussex will be making history as it becomes seventh in line to the throne, but the real question everyone is asking is: will it be a boy or a girl?! We would love to see a little princess in frilly frocks, or perhaps a little prince in traditional baby clothes. Whether a prince or a princess, the new primogeniture laws guarantee their spot in the line of succession – something that Meghan would undoubtedly insist on. Meghan is so passionate about women’s rights and equality, and we know she is pleased with the recent updates to the law allowing a daughter equal rights to succession as a son. (We must admit, however, that baby girl clothes are usually much cuter than boy clothes.)
To celebrate the arrival of Baby Sussex, we have teamed up with Montreal-based jewelry line The Right Hand Gal. You’ll remember that Meghan sent the media world on fire when she wore their two letter necklace, featuring the letters M and H, quietly confirming that yes – she was dating Harry – and yes – they were very serious. Randi and Shawna, the bubbly and brilliant designers behind The Right Hand Gal line, want to hear from YOU: will the new royal baby be a Prince or a Princess? Tell us your guess, and you could win an initial necklace just like Meghan’s – but with a special addition: the winner can choose from either a three initial necklace or a two initial necklace with a star or heart from The Right Hand Gal, valued at $340!
Guess the Gender Right Hand Gal Necklace Giveaway
Meghan purchased her original two letter necklace from Ani + Wren, the Toronto-based boutique where many of her iconic fashion pieces (like that coat from The Line!) were purchased. In fact, our fashion sources say that Meghan’s HATCH Collection maternity dress also came from the Ani + Wren shop. The Right Hand Gal’s initial necklaces are all available for purchase from their website and make the perfect Mother’s Day gift… Or any time gift, really.

We want to know – what is your guess for Baby Sussex?!
Sandy Stevens says
I would love to win the initial necklace. Because……I was the one that found my 40 year old sister, Tonja, deceased on my parents couch. I loved her dearly. And….on the 19th of February, was the 19th anniversary of my 17 year old daughter Lindsay’s death, from a car accident. It would be so precious to have mine, (S) for Sandy, and (T) for my sister Tonja, and (L) for my sweet daughter Lindsay on a necklace that I can wear every day. They would feel closer to me.
Thank you for even having this contest. I will be on your website a lot! I already love it…..I just can’t afford to buy the necklace myself. I have to live on disability, for having a weak heart. Probably from too many heartbreaking events in my life. And it only gives me $990.00 a month. And I have to pay rent along with everything else in life. Ahhhhh!

Thank you so much for doing this contest! I have loved this necklace since the first time I saw it on Meghan Markle, as soon as I found out who made it, I started following you on instagram. Sadly I can’t afford it. I was diagnosed with a rare disease two years ago and not one single doctor here in Quebec knows about this disease, it started affecting my skin but since last May it affected my kidneys so I haven’t been able to go back to work. I do have an awesome husband and three amazing boys, all of them take care of me. I’ve lost more than half of my hair due to the strong side effects of my medications and it has affected me emotionally. I would really love this necklace and maybe I can put a bit of make up and take a picture with my family.
