Let’s face it, we all know that the best natural makeup looks are the ones that leave you wondering if the person is even wearing makeup. The look is light, airy and completely natural – even if it took 8 products to look that way! The natural look is one that Meghan not only embraces in her everyday, but also the one she chose for a most important day – her wedding.

We thought Meghan’s soft, classic makeup was purely and utterly “Meghan” and we weren’t surprised in the least that it was how she chose to be styled on her wedding day. Her decision to work with Daniel Martin, a makeup artist she’s long worked with and very friendly with (we’ve previously shared Tig TBT articles where Daniel reveals the secrets to Meghan’s flawless face) was not surprising in the least.

Here’s what Harper’s Bazaar shared about Daniel’s process:
Martin kept Markle’s skin fresh, with just a touch of concealer under her eyes. Her freckles were visible and her skin looked luminous. Her eyebrows and eyes were the main focus of the look. Martin swept a gray eyeshadow across her eyes and piled on the mascara, then filled-in her eyebrows with a warm brown powder to define them.

Thanks for the fun post MM!! Such a nice way to spend a lazy Saturday morning!
I just purchased the Dior Lip Addict Glow in Pink for myself and I’m loving it! Amazingly it doesn’t really look pink on my lips, in fact it darkens them just a bit and brings out a lovely pop of color. I also swear by Dior’s eyelash primer, it really helps hold my mascara on and even in the extreme summer heat it doesn’t smudge. I don’t really use any face makeup except for the occasional blusher but I’m a face care product junkie and other than wrinkles have pretty good skin.
I’m not quite believing that Mr. Martin only used gray eye shadow and mascara on Meghan’s eyes as I definitely see eyeliner along her top and lower lids and is it just me or does her eye shadow look brown not gray? Either way Meghan’s makeup was warm and natural for her big day and really highlighted her sparkling eyes!! I would so love to emulate Meghan’s eye look but having blonde hair, pale skin and blue eyes too much makeup especially eyeliner tends to stand off of my skin and look anything but natural. Sigh…
I have never commented here before, but I have been reading this blog for several months now and I just love it! Keep up the good work, ladies!
He also shared a bit more of how they created and maintained the makeup in a Glamour interview. Didn’t mention the names of products though.
