Today marks another Earth Day – a day meant to celebrate the place we all call home. While this Earth Day coupled is most definitely different from those past as we all practice our own forms of social distancing, one thing is different – in arguably a positive way – as a result of Covid-19. The skies are clear of pollution and cities around the world have become less congested as a result of social distancing measures.

Meghan – and Harry – have been advocating for environmental causes for years. Their advocacy has led to initiatives and charity work, but long before Meghan was a Royal, she was also an advocate for “Mama Earth”, sharing these words along with some of her favorite clean & earth-friendly beauty picks on the Tig.
While we covered many of those beauty picks specifically highlighted by Meghan last year, we thought we would share how not only were Meghan and friend Daniel Martin able to pick some beauty products that were sustainable and clean for that article, her known beauty products often feature some of those same characteristics… And coupled with a massive 20% sale currently underway at Sephora, you can pick up some of her must-have beauty picks for an Earth-day deal.
MM Pick: Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist & Rice Enzyme Powder
Meghan’s former makeup artist, Lydia Sellers, revealed some of Meghan Markle’s favourite beauty products ahead of the Royal Wedding, including the Tatcha Luminous Skin Mist. Meghan also uses the Rice Enzyme Powder, which Meghan shared that “…It just sort of foams on your face and gives you a really subtle exfoliation” back in 2015.
The Tatcha line (which we can attest to!) is an amazing find. Not only is the brand formulated without mineral oil, synthetic fragrances, urea, DEA, or TEA; but it’s beauty that gives back: every Tatcha purchase you make supports girls’ education around the world in a partnership with Room to Read.
Tatcha’s Dewy Skin Mist is normally $48 for the full-size product, now on sale for $38.40, and Tatcha’s Rice Enzyme Powder is $65, now only $52 with code SPRINGSAVE. If you’re new to the brand, there’s also a trial kit which is great value at only $60 normal – now only $48 containing all of Meghan’s favourites.
MM Pick: RMS Living Luminizer
Another pick shared by Lydia Sellers that Meghan uses, the “magical” Living Luminizer is the first-of-its-kind cream highlighter that awakens skin’s youthfulness with a natural, luminous finish.
RMS Beauty, founded by makeup artist, Rose-Marie Swift, created the non-toxic makeup collection rms beauty to offer wellness and beauty in one. Centered around showcasing your skin’s youthful glow, the entire line is made with raw, food grade, and organic anti-aging ingredients.
The full-size Living Luminizer is $38 – now only $30.40 – and if you’re dying to try the brand at a fraction of the price, check out their mini-compact which is now only $20.
MM Pick: Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment & Rosé Tinted Balm
Meghan has shared that she loves Fresh products to moisturize her lips, and makeup artists have shared how much she loves having it in her beauty kit. Meghan shared with Hello! that she uses the Fresh Sugar Advanced Therapy Lip Treatment and the Rosé tinted balm.
Fresh is a bestselling lip balm for a reason. They hydrate for up to 24 hours and smooth the look of wrinkles for visibly fuller lips. By combining potent natural ingredients, ancient rituals, and modern science, Fresh creates products that perform with experiences that transform. Fresh’s Founders travel the world uncovering the highest quality natural ingredients and time-honored cultural traditions.

The Advanced Lip Therapy is normally $26, now $20.80 and the rosé tinted balm is normally $24, now $19.20.There are tons of sets you can peruse to try out this great brand.
Do you use any natural brands that we should know about? We’d love to hear about some of your favorites from these MM-approved brands or others!
