The Royal Tour South Africa began with a township visit in Cape Town where Meghan and Harry took in a workshop that teaches children about their rights, self-awareness and safety and which provides self-defence classes and female empowerment training to young girls in the community. Meghan and Harry walked into the event hand-in-hand and full of joy as they danced around and played with the local children.
Meghan looked summery and stylish in a black and white printed wrap dress and her beloved Castaner wedges. Her slicked-back hair created a chic look and allowed her to shake hands and meet people without worry about the wind or weather.
Wedges: Castaner Carina Espadrilles
Necklace: Hamsa Hand Necklace, TBC
Bracelet: Justice Desk Beaded Bracelet
Earrings: Jennifer Meyer Diamond Bezel with Turquoise Marquise Studs
Dress: Mayamiko “Dalitso” Dress

Meghan looks fresh and stylish in this eye catching black and white wrap dress. So appropriate for the royal couple’s first engagement.. Espadrilles go well with the relaxed look.

Great dress, and love that she went very minimal with her makeup. She looks fantastic, and the speech she gave was very good. Great start to the tour.

Such a summery look and a pretty print on Meghan, and a comfy wrap-over style as well, Meghan is ticking all the casual boxes here while still channelling chic. Black espadrilles are good and I love her hair tied back like this, she is a beautiful woman. The darling turquoise studs are a subtle pop of colour — just perfect.
And exciting too to meet our first Africa label, with ethically-sourced cotton and local artisans — definitely ticks all the Meghan boxes there! And such a reasonable price, it is immediately sold out. Here’s hoping they can restock soon!

The Duchess looked lovely, appropriately dressed for the day’s events. The Dress was perfect, the wedges worked well. I really like her hair pulled back off her face. The Jewellery simple pieces but just right. The earrings are beautiful. She really nailed the speech, it was faultless, she really is a wonderful public speaker.

O, she knocked it out the park! Love the look and the hair.

Is there anything more flattering than a wrap dress?!?! And I love that she kicked things off with a piece from an African designer. Really looking forward to the next 10 days after about 6 months of minimal Meghan sightings. And a ‘high five’ to the ladies who run this site for keeping us entertained with throwbacks and other great content while Meghan was lying low for those months! 🙂
