This morning, Meghan stood on the balcony overlooking the Cenotaph while Prince Harry laid a memorial wreath to commemorate Remembrance Day 2019. The event is attended by all the major British royals to pay their respects to those who have lost their lives while defending our freedoms.

The Remembrance Day celebrations in November are a somber reminder of those who have lost their lives protecting us in the line of duty. Although the focus should remain on remembering those who have fallen, we recognize that many of you look to us for fashion. Meghan looks absolutely stunning, divine hat. Perfect for sombre occasion.
Wow wow wow! Meghan looks breathtaking! The hat could not have been more perfect. This is definitely the royal look I’ve been waiting for. Make up is perfect. Meghan has been looking well rested lately. A minor complaint though is that I think this highly sophisticated hat is screaming for a well-structured coat. There’s a disconnect between the neck up sophistication and the neck down relaxed style. But still, Meghan nailed the somber look for today’s event. Absolutely gorgeous.

Stunning. This entire look is perfection, I don’t like to overly focus on fashion at such an event but this is such a step up from last year for me. Nitpicking, I wish the coat had been more structured but still, love it.

Love the makeup. Hair is nicely done. Outfit is another matter unfortunately. Not a win. I agree with Fabuleuse above – the coat is okaaay but would have elevated to great if it had been a bit more structured. The hat is a definite fail. The floppiness suggests a whimsicalness which belongs at Woodstock in the 60’s. No, no, no. This is a very unique occasion. Daytime. Sombre. Formal.
