Meghan and Harry stepped out to celebrate Commonwealth Day today, a celebration of the many countries and nations that make up the British Commonwealth. They started the day at the Canadian Embassy meeting with Canadians living in Britain and taking part in activities to celebrate the Canadian heritage.
Meghan and Harry later joined members of the British royal family for a traditional church service at Westminster Abbey celebrating Commonwealth Day. You can get all those details here.
Meghan wore a stunning emerald green coat from Erdem with a matching dress underneath. The outfit was created just for the Duchess, inspired by Erdem’s recent runway collection. She accessorized with some of her favorite pieces from her closet, like her go-to Aquazzura Deneuve pumps and her Givenchy satin clutch. Many noted that Meghan was not wearing her engagement ring today – only her wedding band!
Coat: Erdem Emerald Coat
Dress: Erdem Emerald Dress
Heels: Aquazzura Deneuve Pumps
Bracelets: Kismet by Milka Dangle Disc Bracelet
Earrings: Birks Opal Earrings
Clutch: Givenchy Jewel Clutch

Not a frequent commenter here, but needed to chime in to say that she looks great! Gorgeous color, and great material (finally!) that doesn’t wrinkle and looks extremely polished, especially with her growing bump.

LOVE the DoS Meghan ensemble today! First, this deep emerald green is a shade she’s worn on a few other occasions and looks great on her. The Erdem coat is just beautiful and the details on it are exquisite. The matching dress and my favorite Denueve Bow Pumps pull the look together nicely as well. The fit and fabric are perfect.
She looks so happy today to be around the Canadian youth for Commonwealth Day and it’s wonderful that she’ll be a part of this event for years to come with her close ties to Canada from her Suits days! This is one of my top 5 pregnancy looks for her 🙂

So beautiful! I love her modern, royal style. Also, SO happy to see her Kismet bracelet again – I’ve been looking for something similar since she first wore it in 2017, so if you have any Mirror Megs I’m all ears, MM team! lol! It’s my favorite bracelet of hers, and of course green is my favorite color on her. Love the hairdo as well! We need some Mirror Meg tutorials soon, if you ever branch into the Youtube sphere. 🙂

There are LOADS on Etsy that are similar in style. Just do a search for gold disc bracelet. It is my go-to! Perhaps the mods can post referral links.

That is so helpful, thank you! I just found a great, similar version and added it to my cart. 🙂 Love this community!

Also, if it happily happens to ever travel in Greece, be ready to see it everywhere. It is a very common design, especially in the islands.

Love this colour in general, and it looks especially good with Meghan’s hair and skin tone. Great colour for spring too.
There’s also pictures available of the church service outfit (cream + green) which I imagine this site will be posting soon.

The coat/dress ensemble looks very polished and the color is great. Plus the fit and length are perfect along with the black accessories.

She looks great. The color is amazing and everything drapes well and the fabric is beautiful. I don’t SUPER love the embellishments but with Erdem, I am just happy that it doesn’t look like a bedspread with a dust ruffle (I am not tremendously enamored with his designs, tbh).

I applaud her for taking a cue from the 60s, from trapeze coats to mod print dresses to pillbox hats, for her recent pregnancy looks. Given her slender legs, it’s an especially great look on her.

This ensemble is smart, a tad unusual in design and suits the Duchess well. The colour is rich and vibrant, the green is gorgeous and suits her well. Love the shoes.
Karen says
Afraid it’s a miss for me. The color is lovely but I feel the neckline does nothing for her. The whole thing feels a bit grandma to me. I do love those shoes and she looks so happy that it doesn’t matter what she is wearing.
Lisa says
Great color but I’m not too crazy about the black detailing.
Deborah A. Lorenzen says
Not a fav of mine! Not crazy about the embellishments.Maybe without the buttons and the scroll work.
Cher says
I am sorry, but this looks dated, the fit (especially the neck area) is not flattering on her, the embroidery is unnecessary…this is just not good.

Dear Duchess of Sussex, can you get anymore beautiful? When you are beautiful on the inside, it truly shows on the outside. I love hunter green and am a big fan of Erdem and his incredible, unique prints. This is another great, Jackie O inspired look for the Duchess. The colour is gorgeous on her and the embellishments on the coat add just the perfect finishing touch. What a wonderful event for them today given her ties to Canada.

This is not my favorite pregnancy look from her, but I must say that I always LOVE seeing her in Green!
