Meghan Markle and Prince Harry carried out a series of unannounced engagements in Northern Ireland. Due to security concerns, the details of the trip remained embargoed until just before the events began.
Harry and Meghan’s first stop was the Eikon Centre, where they learned more about Amazing the Space, a youth-led peace-building program that Prince Harry launched in September 2017.
The next stop was one of Belfast’s most historic locations, The Crown Liquor Saloon, which is a National Trust property. After visiting the Victorian gin joint, they enjoyed a pub lunch and went on a walkabout to meet local residents.
Prince Harry and Ms. Markle visited the Belfast campus of Northern Ireland’s next generation science park, Catalyst Inc, where they met some of Northern Ireland’s local youth, entrepreneurs, and innovators.
The final stop was to the Titanic Museum, an icon in Belfast, where they will tour the galleries to learn more about the ship and the ways that the museum has helped the local area.

Such a polished look for Meghan, an impressive working of her off-beat style into royal mode. Love seeing her hair up, maybe she’s deciding loose hair is not so good for meeting and greeting. Too bad she has such fly away hair – she might try borrowing one of Kate’s hairnets sometime!
Love the colour blocking outfit, just great to see the VB top. That skirt is divine with a great swish to it via the attached fluted hem. Both bag and shoes are divine – tho that’s the third shoe ID I’ve seen, having gone thro Blahnik & Prada to fetch up with Jimmy Choo! She wears them brilliantly.

What a beautiful color combination! I love the green skirt (nice nod to the Belfast location!) and the brown/orange Jimmy Choo shoes are a nice twist on what could have been a much more predictable ensemble.
I also love that she wore her hair up for this occasion. It really allows you to take in all the colors and details of the outfit and accessories.

I almost bought a Charlotte Elizabeth Bag when the previous collection was heavily discounted. But I never completed the order (couldn’t log in to my paypal account) I’m a fool!

Oh I love the whole look. Probably one of my faves so far. Those shoes are perfection!

I love the outfit, especially the coat, but I have to dissent on the shoes. I don’t like them…probably because rust has never been a color I like. And her hair is just too messy. It is how I wear my hair when I am going to the grocery store on a Saturday morning. It just downgrades a polished look too much. There is artfully messy, and then there is just messy, and this is the latter. It is interesting that she only really started doing this with her hair when going to official engagements…I feel like even when she was wandering around Canada or leaving yoga her hair was much more polished than this.
Bertie says
It looks to me as if there’s a pretty stiff breeze blowing and Meghan has naturally fly-away hair. I think the updo is plenty polished enough but it can be a battle to keep it looking that way. She may have to keep working on product help or even consider a hairnet.

Wow, what a great way to start my day!!! I woke up with horrible back pain (chronic) but this headline brought a huge smile to my face and made me completely forget about the pain!!! Thanks for getting this post up so fast MM, you’re the best!!
I love this look!! The mix of colors are very complimentary and look lovely on her. This outfit proves that a mix of neutrals (with a pop of color) can be anything but boring. And omg, her choice of shoes is perfection!
Lauri says
Dear MM, I noticed that there is some monogram on the back of Meghan’s purse, since it can be personalized to you know/think that it might be her name? Or do you think it says Charlotte Elizabeth? While I’m itching to order this purse I worry that once I do Meghan will come out with another purse I like better and I can only afford one expensive purse, what do you think I should do?

Love it! I like that she wore a green skirt, perhaps a nod to the Emerald Isle. The designer is from Toronto, so a nod to her old home town, and did a BEAUTIFUL dress for Mindy Kaling at an event earlier this year. The rust Jimmy Choos give me hope that she’s not going to go down the boring shoe route of her sister-in-law (sorry to Kate, she’s gorgeous but her shoe game is terrible), and take it up a notch. Love everything, including that she’s still wearing rings on several fingers, including her thumb.

I love this color combo! The rust color heels are really pretty. Overall I like this look a lot!

Although most people believe that green is the only color associated with Ireland, in actuality the the colors of the flag are green, white and orange. I’m wondering if, rather than being a random color choice, she chose those color shoes (and that color sweater, as well as that green skirt) as a subtle nod to the colors of the flag.
Rochelle says
Northern Ireland (which is where they visited) is part of the United Kingdom. They did not visit the Republic of Ireland which is a separate country to the United Kingdom and has a green/white/orange flag. So Meghan made a faux pas with her color choice!

Love the entire outfit, I think her look is perfection from head to toe…I’m interested to see what her jewelry choices were, I can’t see them in any photos.
Sassysparky says
Those shoes are fantastic – what a lovely choice. They were the first thing I noticed about the outfit.
Iris says
Wow!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the skirt and shoes, what a lovely surprise today! I think this is one of my favorite looks of hers yet, happy to see some color!

I like Meghan’s outfit very much, especially the shoes, coat and bag. It gives a feeling of spring. She looks great and her makeup is beautifully done! Could you possibly find out, which Makeup she uses (especially for this look) I suppose it’s very difficult to find out, but it would be awesome!

Love the colour combo esp.the shoes. Been debating as to buying cream cashmere sweater, will do so now. Love her casual thrown together look, very French, more relatable, Hope she remains true to her style.
Taryn says
Is the sweater really ID’ed correctly? I don’t see the VB anywhere. Additionally, Meghan’s sweater looks baggier. Her sleeve cuffs are shorter and the neckline features piping that I don’t see on the VB sweater. I’m really not sure how anyone identified the sweater as VB from the tiny sliver of it that was shown in the engagement photo. Just wondered!

I just Love Meghan’s style its so modern, refreshing, and fun. I truly hope she sticks with her own style because she has really great taste in style and I’m so excited to see what else to shes going to wear as a duchess. In my personal opinion I think Meghan can possible be one of the most best dressed royal because her style is so exciting and modern. We all know Queen Letizia Of Spain is the best dressed royal in Europe because that classy lady has style and Meghan’s style kinda reminds me of Letizia’s style.
