While living in Toronto, Meghan Markle was a frequent customer of Blo Blow Dry Bar in the Shangri-La Hotel in downtown Toronto. Meghan’s Mirror editors have the inside scoop from the stylist who worked with Meghan and helped her get those luscious blowed out locks.
Blo Blow Dry Bar is a franchise of hair salons specializing in blow outs – no cuts or coloring, just styling into a perfect blow out. Their brand aims to provide flawless hair, which never goes out of style, at an affordable price. Blowouts at Blo start at $40.
Meghan’s stylist, who prefers to stay anonymous, spoke with Meghan’s Mirror editors during their own blowout at Blo (which, we can attest, was amazing). According to the stylist, Meghan is “super sweet and very down to earth.” She never played the “diva actress” card, and was always unassuming and kind to everyone in the salon.
Her stylist shares that Meghan has very curly hair, which requires a lot of management. Meghan would come to the salon frequently, for a day off, an event, or a day working on the set of Suits. Blowouts are a great little treat to your personal care regimen, and a good blowout can last for days. Meghan would opt for the “Pillow Talk,” “Red Carpet,” or “Executive Sweet” hairstyles, depending on the occasion.
The best thing we learned from her stylist? Meghan was reportedly a great tipper, which is so important in today’s day and age. A little kindness and a generous tip go a long way!
To get a Meghan Markle-inspired blowout from Blo, visit their King Street West location, which is the relocated Shangri-La blow dry bar. To learn more, visit the Blo Blow Dry Bar website.

I was inspired to update my collection of costume rings and play with new styles. I’m not Meghan, don’t want to be a carbon copy but your site opened my eyes to new ideas.

No real secrets were revealed here. Except that’s she a nice person which is great and I think is universally known by now. But I was actually looking for some tips as how she actually manages her hair. Her treatments would be totally different to the editors of this site.

Agreed @Amy Bee! Is this site run by her PR team to prove she’s a nice person? The title of the article should be ‘Meghan’s former hairstylist thinks Meghan was really nice’ Poor journalism!
