Looking absolutely delightful in Tongan red to match the country’s flag, Meghan stepped off the plane in a customized version of a Self-Portrait dress. The dress, which retails for $445 USD is sure to fly off the shelves.

What did you think of Meghan’s look as she departed from Fiji?
I am partial to red myself, so I quite like this dress. I think she should have left the belt off, however. While it is not really visible in the side view pictures here, when looking at the front view, the belt looks awkward with her changing shape and it also scrunches up a lot of the interesting embroidery.
Nice to see red in lieu of neutrals. I agree the belt was unnecessary and does not flatter her plus the fabric is a bit clingy. Love the little clutch.

The Duchess looks very pretty in Red, and I see she recycled the Navy Manalo’s and Dior clutch, which is a pretty accenting color and a nicer touch that predictable black.
The cut of the dress is perfect for the occasion and compliments her growing frame nicely.
In addition, while I know many people gasp at how much some of her wardrobe costs (P.S. It’s still less than Duchess Kate’s on average) but from what I’ve seen along the way on this tour, she’s recycling some of her pieces a tad TOO much. In other words, I would love to see some variation in the shoes/bags/accessories, even if in similar colors, because it just feels a bit more special. But I know others will disagree! 🙂
I agree on the shoes/bags BUT since she is traveling I am cutting her a break. I usually edit my shoe collection WAY down and carry one purse the whole time I am on vacation, so I can get that she might have been saving space. But when she gets back to England I expect to see interesting shoes and no boring pumps for the next few months 🙂
I agree – she’s clearly gone for a capsule but probably went a bit too minimal for the variety of events on this tour – some sparkly evening shoes / bags are missngI think
Well this is just lovely! Possibly a tiny bit too formal and structured for a visit to a relaxed, humid tropical island, but looks fabulous on her.
Beautiful dress and love the navy shoes/clutch. Hairstyle is also appropriate. A win for Meghan!
