I love navy and have defended her wearing it so often but uncle. Uncle! No more!

She looks beautiful! But it is alot of the same….
OG SG says
Yeah and this one is boring. The other navy dresses has some interesting details but this is just plain.

I love navy too but I do not wear it day after day after day. Cannot fathom Megan’s thinking here. After a while all the navy, black, beige, olive green just meld into one and nothing really stands out. And I do not want to see another trench coat! At times it looked like Meghan was dressing for a northern winter rather than a southern Spring.
I have found the wardrobe on this tour overall to be very disappointing and unimaginative. Also glad it’s coming to an end ‘cos folks it’s all the same blah. Don’t want to compare with Kate but Meghan could learn a thing or two from her. Kate’s tour wardrobes have always been fresh and very well suited to the country, culture and climate. Loved her India tour wardrobe especially.
On a positive note Meghan must be commended for championing local designers consistently and also ethical fashion.
This is her first tour so hopefully she will evolve in the future.

Navy on navy on navy. I felt the same about her beige trench look : she looks beautiful, but there really isn’t much here. It’ just a whole lotta navy.
I’m a little underwhelmed by the whole first page of the blog being beige/navy/neutrals looks. But it might just be fashion fatigue after a packed two weeks!

I’m kind of happy the tour is coming to end so I can get back to my life ?. We definitely got our dose of white/navy/blue/black/striped/double-breasted/cape/sheath/midi outfits. I just realized, I don’t think she wore a skirt on this tour, did she?
MM can you do a poll on the best casual and formal outfits on the tour?
Lauri says
Wow, this necklace is stunning! I just went to the Kiri Nathan site and loved how they explained the significance of the stone and even credited the carver by name. Mr Lauri is a geologist and his love of unique stones has certainly rubbed off on me 🙂 I especially love stones that possess a certain quality, other than stunning beauty which these are, but also offer their wearers protection, healing, etc.. I wonder if Meghan received this necklace as a gift? As it’s not a piece I would see her selecting for herself.
I second Lisa’s request for a poll of favorite outfits or maybe, during a slow time, a flashback of outfits worn. As I’ve said before, while each outfit is lovely they’re starting to blur together for me 🙂 Thanks MM for all of your hard work and I hope a glass of wine and some rest is in your near future!

I know this site is about Meghan but I’d just like to take a moment to appreciate a very nice suit on Harry. Looks great on him!

Yes, I agree with many of the others that the navy, while nice, is getting repetitive. However, on the bright side, since the navy Stella McCartney dress is very demure, the beautiful Kiri Nathan Pounamu Necklace really is the centerpiece and also has a lovely significance I’m sure Meghan connected with.
I have a feeling that the prevalence of navy in Meghan’s first Royal tour wardrobe was also strategic – it’s a way to wear a darker color that slims the body (especially in photos!) in a softer way that black, it could hide any marks/stains/dirt that she may have encountered while on her activities and may have just made her feel more comfortable in her shifting/changing pregnant body….

I think this dress hangs funny and you can see the pulling around the stomach area. Again if this dress is custom made for her please add some extra fabric so the lines of the dress are not distorted. I agree with the navy and black worn repeatedly. I think her style during this tour was a little boring. Black jackets, black jeans, white, black and navy blue dresses. I agree that her wardrobe was somber and not fitting for a spring season. I think it is the cut of the dress that flatters not so much the color. This folding , hanging, flapping style is not really flattering (but she loves it!) and does not distract from her growing baby bump, which isn’t that big BTW.
