Meghan and Harry visited Fraser Island, 1275 km away from Sydney, for a day’s worth of events in the Pile Valley. After Kensington Palace announced that Meghan needed rest in order to keep in good shape for the rest of the Tour, the events will likely be mainly for Harry, as the Duchess of Sussex is expected to rest at the Kingfisher Resort.

What did you think of Meghan’s look for a trip to Fraser Island?
Danielle says
Okay…I’m always trying to emulate her style, looking at past looks to see how I can “mirror Meg.”
But can I just say how good it feels that I bought nearly this exact dress *yesterday*?! I’m now one step ahead of the fashion game. Success! Lol!
Thanks as always for your fast features, MM team!
Heather says
Where did you get your dress like this??
Danielle says
Target! It’s more red than burgundy, and above the knee instead of midi, but those are virtually the only differences! Feeling pretty great to get the dress one day before she wore a something so similar! Great MM option for sure. 🙂

I wish Meghan’s dress was knee length…it just has a lot of fabric going on…but the fabric is cute. It is a color AND a pattern, so it should satisfy the anti neutral brigade 😉

I agree with the comment about the length. This dress is adorable but I think a few inches shorter would look better. She seems to prefer this odd length even in her bespoke dresses which are custom made and can be hemmed to any length. I noticed Meghan is sporting a dark polish on her toes. Does anyone have the Sandra Flint sandals? I am just wondering if they are comfortable. I have really thin ankles and I cannot keep ankle tie shoes tied, they always come “unwoven”!
Gigi says
Love this look! I guess I must be in the “anti-neutral brigade” . The length is perfect imho
Imogen says
Flat shoes at last! To me, she looks so much better and more comfortable in a high street dress and flat shoes. Her bespoke couture dresses often seem to be in shapes which don’t suit or flatter her.

Lovely. Nice to see some colour. Love the sandals.

The fashion choices displayed on tour is boring….yawn…albeit credit given that they are all very “Meghan” and chic. There is only one true royal style icon and that is Princess Diana. Crown Princess Mary of Denmark and Queen Rania of Jordan are pretty fashionable and I wish they get more coverage and attention.

Queen consort Letizia of Spain has fabulous style as well as a great figure. She’s always appropriately dressed for every occasion.
Madison Mile says
It’s nice that Duchess Meghan is wearing a burgundy color and polka dots! This dress looks very cute and comfortable on her. I think it’s the perfect length and looks nice with the sandals as well as the wedges.
The higher ponytail with the middle part also looks great with the rest of the look. I’m glad she’ll be getting some well needed rest and time to get over this Jet Lag! I can’t wait to see what she’ll wear on the remainder of the tour. 🙂
Kiki says
Yes, her dresses tend to be long. A bit shorter wd be nicer and more youthful. Maybe she is trying to hide her thin legs?? Though a longer length just above the ankles does tend to highlight thin ankles. Even so the dress fits in with the island vibe.
