What did you think of Meghan’s look as she met with the King of Tonga?
Julie says
Nice! This is a win for me. Polished with a bit of visual interest. Very nice.
Eva says
I love the light dress and the green pumps, and a big yes to the sleek ponytail! She is looking very tidy.
However, her makeup seems off to me. She has on way too much blush/highlight, let alone for a daytime event and with this much eye makeup. Also, the bronzer looks off; her hands are quite pale compared with her face.
Lisa says
I’ve noticed that her make up on this tour has sometimes been on the heavy side. I prefer her with less make up.
kiki says
I agree. the stuff on her cheeks just looks too heavy and too shiny. something matt would be better.
Gigi says
Some of the outfits she chooses emphasise her tiny frame, and end up overwhelming her – this is a good example of that, so it’s a “no” from me. She does look so genuinely happy here though and that’s what counts!
Karen says
Love the sleek hair!
OG SG says
I love stripes so this outfit is a win for me. Because her limbs are so thin, there is a bit too much fabric in the arms and skirt, as with a lot of her fuller dresses, but overall I still like it.
Deborah A. Lorenzen says
I don’t think she is wearing foundation but she is going heavy on the blush or bronzer and it looks almost “clown-like”. Maybe she thinks she looks pale so compensating by loading up on the bronzer. I don’t like wide stripes they remind me of a shower curtain. Especially this dress horizontal, verticle, and diagonal stripes, too busy!
Karen says
You are so right about the blush. I thought she’d gotten a bruise in an earlier photo!
Laura B. says
As a fellow stripe lover, I absolutely adore this look on her. And the sleek ponytail is killer! WIN!
Natatat says
Didn’t realize at first that the stripes are an olive tone and match the shoes. Unique! Really like this look. Fun twist on a standard black and white striped dress.
Madison Mile says
LOVE LOVE LOVE this look on Duchess Meghan! The placement and pattern of the Olive strips is very pretty and flatters here baby Sussex bump. I have a very similar dress with black strips and 3/4 sleeves that I love to wear in the summer, so this gives me great vibes….
The Olive Manolo’s were the perfect shoe choice and the tight, sleek high ponytail the perfect hairstyle with this full skirt style dress.
This is going to be another one of my top 5 looks from the tour! 🙂
Pam says
I love the dress and the shoes are perfect. I also love her sleek ponytail. Perfect with this look. A definite win!
Victoria says
I happen to really love these fuller type skirts on the Duchess. A lot of people have been mentioning that it overwhelms her frame, and I happen to disagree. I feel that not only are the skirts, such as the one on this gorgeous striped piece, incredibly feminine and comfortable, but they also bring forth a tribute to classic 50’s style vintage glam. Meghan has proven time and again that she is a fan of classic styles and silhouettes from a variety of eras, and I feel like her looks on this trip have been a kind of blend between modern ease and the timeless looks of when the Queen first visited the Pacific after her coronation. Well done, Meghan!
