The State Funeral of Queen Elizabeth II at Westminster Abbey happened on September 19, 2022 in London, England. Meghan and Harry joined the rest of the Royal Family, along with dignitaries from around the world, for the somber occasion.

Meghan chose pieces for the funeral which had personal ties to the Queen. The black Stella McCartney cape dress she wore, for example, was a duplicate of the she wore in navy for the Queen’s 92nd birthday celebration in 2018. Another example was the pearl & diamond earrings she wore – they were gifted to her by the Queen on their first joint engagement.
