In great royal tradition, we were treated to not one, but TWO wedding dresses from Meghan – the second gown coming out for the private evening reception at Frogmore House. With that dress, she also wore a gorgeous pair of Aquazurra heels.
Meghan’s shoes were bespoke Aquazurra. Conceived by Colombian-born footwear connoisseur Edgardo Osorio, Aquazurra stands out for its ne plus ultra juxtaposition of heritage craftsmanship with vivid, modern glamour. Here is what Edgardo Osorio, the shoe designer, had to say about Meghan wearing his shoes on her big day:
“It has been an incredible experience to have had the opportunity to design a bespoke shoe for Meghan’s wedding reception. I am deeply honoured to have been chosen for this special occasion and extremely pleased with the creation.”
We believe the shoes Meghan chose were based off of several models and then custom-made for her. The closest model we could find was the Silver Nappa Leather Mesh Studded Pumps (right).
