We were all emotional when we saw Meghan Markle, The Duchess of Sussex, leaving for her evening reception with a certain blue ring on her finger – Princess Diana’s Aquamarine ring, a gift from Prince Harry from his mother’s personal collection.
The ring is part of a set – there is a matching bracelet which Diana wore in 1996. We imagine that Meghan got the full set, so we will be on the lookout for the piece to pop up in the future! The ring is an emerald cut aquamarine flanked by small, solitaire diamonds and set in 24-carat yellow gold. It is believed to have been commissioned by the Princess from Asprey.
