When we have been asked recently about our excitement around the engagement of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, the answer has always been a resounding yes. We’re thrilled that the couple are going to spend their lives together, and even more thrilled that as the largest and longest running Meghan Markle style blog out there, we’ve been able to share our excitement with people around the world through our blog, our media exposure and through getting to know our readers (Special shoutout to longterm readers Lauri, Patricia and Bertie!)

Another really exciting part of the excitement has been in meeting new friends as well, like Jamie Kan. Jamie is an incredibly talented artist from Vancouver, British Columbia who creates stunning fashion illustrations and whom we met through a charity event. We thought we might be able to combine Jamie’s artistry skills with Meghan Markle’s style and Meghan’s Mirror stylings to create something that would not only commemorate the royal engagement, but do something that makes a difference.

We are thrilled today to share with you a project we’ve been working on with Jamie that is near and dear to our hearts. We’ve created a collection of items featuring Jamie’s amazingly talented artistry that will be available for sale – with proceeds going to Ovarian Cancer research. We loved the idea of taking Meghan Markle’s style, combining it with a talented artist and translating it into making a difference to women around the world. It’s especially poignant for one of our co-Editors, Amanda, who lost a family member recently to the terrible disease.

I am so excited that I not only have a platform to share my passion and love for Meghan’s style with similar minded stylish women around the world, but for opportunities like this where I can make a difference in trying to create better outcomes for women around the world, this time in honour of a family member lost to the horrible disease that is ovarian cancer. – Amanda
