The Duchess of Sussex made a special recorded appearance on CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute, thanking and celebrating the COVID-19 pandemic’s “quiet heroes.”
In the video, Meghan praises the compassion we have all seen during these unprecedented times, sharing: “In a year that has been universally challenging for everyone, I’m inspired by the stories of compassion in our communities. Across the country, people have put their own needs aside to come together and support the collective well-being of those around them.”
Meghan looked incredibly beautiful in a soft lavender blouse, delicate gold earrings, and a bold berry-toned lip color. The outfit looked especially lovely with the purple flowers in the background.

This look took me by surprise, the make-up colours are a change for MM but I like the look, I find it feminine and pretty. And it’s yet another example of her professionalism and attention to detail, the way the colours and even the softness and drape of the fabric harmonise so beautifully with the background, perfect for the camera.
I look forward to seeing more of Meghan and Harry in 2021 as they continue to expand beyond the confines of British Royalty.
The blouse and lipstick color suits Meghan’s skin tone and goes well with the photo’s background. This is a great option if one is looking for a conservative/modest blouse.
Yes, I too like this different color palette look for Meghan. I’ve noticed some critical views online about this color palette/ make-up for Meghan and the conservative, more mature style of the blouse. I never thought about it not being a good color palette for her skin tone. It strikes me as different, but a nice, soft look on her. Plus, Meghan is maturing and her life is changing, so it stands to reason that her style will also go through changes as she experiments with different approaches, etc. It’s normal and something we all do as we grow and our lifestyles change. And as well, as our bodies and our moods, interests, and preferences change.
Meghan’s choices for this look work very well with with colorful flowers in the background, as obviously planned. This light violet or lilac hue is one of my personal favorites.
