For the second day of the Royal Tour Australia, Meghan and Harry visited Dubbo, a city in New South Wales about 5 hours inland from Sydney. The couple arrived via aircraft at the Dubbo Airport from Sydney.
While in Dubbo, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex met with local children as they made their way to the Royal Flying Doctor Service where they attended a naming dedication of a new aircraft. There were many adorable photos of Meghan and Harry interacting with the crowds – especially the children.
Following the visit to the airport, the couple met with a local farming family – where Meghan brought homemade banana bread and Fortnum & Mason ‘Royal’ blend tea – to hear about the family’s experiences with drought and how the new generation of farmers in Australia are finding ways to deal with changing environmental conditions. They then traveled to Victoria Part for a Community BBQ where they met with members of the public as they celebrated community spirit in the region. Meghan and Harry seemed to have brought the rain with them, as the BBQ featured a downpour during Harry’s speech.
Hello, casual Meghan! We loved Meghan’s casual yet chic style – and the messages which several of her outfit pieces shared. Outland Denim, for example, is an Australian brand that benefits women who were victims of sex trafficking in Cambodia, and wearing a blazer by friend Serena Williams from her incredibly affordable line is a nice touch too.
Boots: J.Crew ‘Sadie’ Ankle Boots
Blouse: Maison Kitsuné White Dress Shirt
Earrings: Adina Reyter Gold Curve Earrings
Blazer: Serena Williams Oversize Blazer
Jeans: Harriet Jeans from Outland Denim
Necklace: Pascale Monvoisin ‘Cauri’ Necklace
Necklace: Natalie Marie Precious Initial Necklace with letter “m”

What did you think of Meghan’s look for the the second look of the Royal Tour Australia?
Lisa says
3 things I love about this outfit:
1. She’s wearing something from JCrew as I’d hoped
2. She’s supporting her friend’s clothing line
3. She wearing an affordable outfit
It’s an overall yes from me!!!
JMAE says
Yes to all of your reasons for me too! Plus, Outland denim is sourced ethically and sustainably and they employ and train women who are survivor of abuse. Meghan knows the message she sends with her clothes! Excellent!
OG SG says
Yep, it is overall a very diplomatic outfit as well as a stylish one. She looks great, and I love the ponytail and the fact that she is not wearing stilettos (especially nude ones!). I do not have the same love for Harry’s Canadian tuxedo though :-/

Thanks for the quick ID! I just ordered those jeans (but in blue), and I’m excited! My current pair of jeans is falling apart at the seams, and I’m excited to support an ethical Aussie brand with free shipping (something that’s rare in Australia) and now a royal connection!
Madison Mile says
What a fantastic outfit the Duchess choose, with so much thought put into the designers and the origins/price points of the brands.
I love that she wore the blazer from Serena’s line! It’s nice that she’s supporting her good friend and giving some great attention to the price friendly line. (She’s also the first “celebrity/famous person” that I’ve seen in public in a Serena piece so that’s nice too!). Her wearing the jeans from Outland denim benefiting such a great cause is also fantastic.
While the overall look is casual she still looks chic and most of all comfortable! As the tour goes on, this is going to more and more important with the Royal Sussex pregnancy progressing! 🙂

Home run so far. Love the ponytail – sleek and chic!
Lauri says
I agree Karen, this low-slung ponytail is sleek and chic yet casual enough for today’s events.

I’m loving this look so much that I just ordered the blazer!!! I’ve been looking and looking for a nice over-sized blazer for quite some time and am thrilled to have finally found one!!
I’m thrilled at how Meghan is wearing Australian designers for at least part of her outfit, it’s such a nice ‘shout out’ to lesser known names and what a great way to highlight Commonwealth companies. This outfit is one that I wear frequently to work, nice jeans, a white button-up shirt and a blazer with cute booties and fun jewelry to finish it off! Lastly, I’m loving her hair today, Meghan has that great bone structure that is really shown off with a ponytail.
Lauri says
So I just read that Meghan baked a banana bread last night at the Admiralty House and took it to share with the farmers they had tea with today. How thoughtful!
Raquel says
She just keeps getting better and better!
Anne says

Anne says
And i am sorry if i make Language misstakes, (making weird sentenses) but english isn’t my native Language. ?
Fabulous says
Hi Anne,
I’m sure you write better in your own language, but your English is great. You write better than many Americans. 🙂
Anne says
Hi Fabulous,
Thank you! ☺️
Lauri says
Hi Anne, I love your King and Queen! The way Williem-Alexander looks at his wife just warms my heart, like Harry he appreciates his wife not only for her beauty but for her intelligence, warmth, exuberance and passion to help others. Maxima’s work to help others through finance is truly awesome, micro-loans and other forms of financial help can really impact a community for not only this generation but for generations to come.
Alison says
I wish she would wear some color to stand out in the crowd.
Imke says
It’s the HArriet Jeans, not the Isabel. https://www.instagram.com/p/BpBEPm1Akdq/
Love the ponytail.
Pam says
Meghan looks very chic. SO glad she is sporting a sleek low ponytail instead of the messy bun look.

Don’t know how practical black sued boots are on the farm! Ditto with a plaid blazer. Looks like a casual Friday work outfit. I like that she is wearing more accessible brands like J Crew and the Serena Williams blazer is affordable. Like the ponytail!
