Last week, we published our annual gift guide, with some of the products that were high on our lists for Meghan-inspired gifting this holiday season. So while fans of Meghan’s style may be suitably covered to hit “send” on that list as their wishes for this year, there are still many other people in our lives this busy holiday season to shop for.
We thought we’d turn to a popular feature from last year which looked at gifts for those people that Meghan herself would be making a purchase for. Between Prince Harry, baby Archie and dozens of friends and family members, Meghan will be sure to choose perfectly suited gifts for all of them. We have compiled lists for five gift recipients based on picks we think Meghan would love to make for them from extrapolating through years worth of Tig Archives, Meghan’s charitable ventures, causes close to her heart and her own personal likes and style that we’ve been able to diffuse from years of royal watching. So sit back and let all your holiday shopping worries be over… Thanks Meghan!
For the Husband…
Many husbands are challenging to shop for – especially if said husband also happens to be a real-life bonafide Prince with little that they likely don’t have, or little that they need. It makes for a challenging gift hunt, for sure. We dug around and tried to find some gifts that Meghan might find to gift to her Prince this holiday season.
For a new dad, like Harry, we thought that Meghan would want him to find pieces of their old life – like going out for drinks with friends – that he could still incorporate into their new “parent” life. A book with easy to copy cards on how to make the perfect cocktail or customized new coasters (with ‘S’, perhaps?) could make Frogmore’s living room feel like a cool cocktail bar. Tech is undoubtedly an important part of modern life, so a new pair of AirPods and a charging base is key for any dad-on-the-go. We also love seeing Meghan’s impact on Harry’s style, like with pieces from Everyone (might we recommend this luxurious hoodie to add to your collection, Harry?) or a vintage piece like a Rolex for a timeless gift.
We also couldn’t help but think a gift of a classic shirt for a stylish guy like Harry, like this one from GANT, would be a welcome surprise for Harry’s wardrobe as he prepares for a busy 2020!

For the Baby…
We can’t imagine how excited Meghan and Harry must be to celebrate the holiday season with Archie this year. While still young, Archie will undoubtedly still be able to enjoy in some of the family festivities and work through a piece of wrapping paper like no one’s business. So what might a young royal be gifted from his parents on Christmas Day?
We thought that there would be a delightful element in seeing the love Meghan and Harry share for Africa – that they, in turn, shared with Archie this year – reflected in some of the gifts to the young Master Mountbatten-Windsor. Things like animal-inspired booties, puzzles and artwork for his nursery would be great picks to inspire some jungle fun – along with a pair of crocheted binoculars to take in the “views”! Selecting a natural, forest-inspired comfortable outfit for days at home was a logical pick for the young lad as he begins moving around… Which he can do on his ride-on bunny walker, or through a whimsical swing on a macramé style swing.

For the Mothers…
Meghan is certainly quite lucky to always have Doria in her corner – her proud smile is evident in photographs anytime she is near Meghan and we’re certain that Archie has formed quite a strong bond with his maternal grandmother. Meghan would likely want something to commemorate this special year marking Doria’s first as a grandmother, and would also turn to similar emotionally minded gifts for her stepmother-in-law as well.
We couldn’t help but pick things that invoke a feeling of emotional attachment to tradition – like cooking with baby Archie as he grows and an adorable apron to do so in, or with a holiday special spatula. We also love gifting moms with flowers – a monthly subscription coupled with a lovely vase is always a hit – or a nod to their hobbies, like these specially designed yoga towelettes. It’s about celebrating the woman who raised you!

For the Children…
Part of the joy of Christmas is seeing the excitement on the faces of children – and Meghan and Harry will certainly be able to see it on the faces of their niece and nephews during royal family events. We’d love to see how Archie would interact with his older cousins and if they’d all look on as they opened parcels. Here are some of our picks for gifts fit for a Prince or Princess… Or any child worthy of the title.
Kids love colourful, fun packages – and gifts Meghan would choose would undoubtedly be of the same mindset as those of the recipient. We couldn’t help but get heart-eyes when we saw the “royal” style tower that could suspend in a playroom, or the adorable mermaid dolls to accompany it. Meghan, as you may recall, loves mermaids and would likely love to gift these mystical creatures to some of the little girls in her life. We also loved the feminist twist to a puzzle, a tender keepsake for lost teeth and a small lounge chair that we couldn’t help but notice looked quite like those from Soho House in New York.

For the Friends…
Meghan has a huge number of friends who have been in her corner for years, and in a year as challenging as this one we are certain she’d want to send small, thoughtful ways to thank them as part of her holiday gifting routine.
Whether it is a personal token of appreciation, like one of your favourite candles, or a nod to one of your favourite places (Soho House, through their collaboration with Anthropologie) gifting friends is often considered the easiest of gifts as you know them inside-out and backwards. We think Meghan would love this Aerogarden to inspire even the most urban of friends to have a little garden of their own, share some of her secret skincare cream (the Goe cream!) and some of her favourite packing tips & tricks with a new suitcase.

This has been so interesting. Some marvellous suggestions, especially for someone like me. I really get stuck with what to buy my family and friends. Being creative and inventive in choices is not my forte, but this has seriously given me a much better scope to work off. Such a broad range of alternatives and options. I will definitely be browsing the full guide. Thank you for sharing.
