Meghan and Harry are helping tackle the devastating impacts of the Coronavirus, starting in the community of their new home in Los Angeles. TMZ has video of the couple visiting a complex to drop off food to needy residents.
The couple were volunteering with Project Angel Food, which is supporting residents of Los Angeles impacted by the Coronavirus by delivering nutritious food to those in need. The charity is a great one to donate to if you are able, the link to donate is here.
While fashion is most certainly not a key element to this story – the terrible medical, economic and isolating impacts of the virus we are all fighting being key amongst them – we did opt to cover the fashion elements of the story. By Meghan stepping out in support of a charity, we are hoping the ‘Meghan Effect’ translates from fashion to increased donations to the amazing work they do. Also, two of the brands Meghan wore, Frank & Eileen and Suetables, are small businesses trying to stay afloat during this crazy time and the publicity from someone like Meghan wearing their pieces can go a great distance to ensuring they survive these troubling economic times.
Shirt: Frank & Eileen ‘Eileen’ Shirt
Sneakers: Adidas ‘Stan Smith’ Sneakers
Sunglasses: Le Spec ‘Bandwagon’ Sunglasses
Necklace: Believed to be Suetables Necklaces
Hat: Project Angel Food Volunteer Hat
