In celebration of Archie’s first birthday, Meghan read a story – with a cuddly Archie on her lap – in support of Save the Children’s COVID-19 campaign. Meghan read Duck, Rabbit by Amy Krouse Rosenthal, a popular and sweet children’s book, while Archie wriggled on her lap while playing with two other books.
According to Save the Children’s website, the Save with Stories campaign aims to help keep children alive, protected and learning during the COVID-19 crisis. They share that “… The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are helping us to raise urgent funds for our coronavirus appeal by reading their son Archie’s favourite book for his first birthday.”
Meghan looked California cool in an oversized chambray shirt and white shorts. Her hair was effortlessly tied up in a topknot, which looked equal parts relaxed and stylish. Archie looked cozy and cute in a simple white onesie as he cuddles on his mother’s lap.
Shirt: Chambray oversized shirt, TBC
Bracelet: Links of London ‘Sweetie’ Bracelet
Bracelet: Tai Jewelry Asymetrical Stone Bracelet
Bracelet: Black and White Beaded Bracelet, from Australia
Books: Duck, Rabbit by Amy Krouse Rosenthal, Is Your Mama a Llama by Deborah Guarino and Mommy Hugs by Anne Gutman.
We are still not sure about the other bracelets. One reader suggests the green bracelet is possibly jade, which we think is a great guess. The other bracelet appears to be a helix-type shape from an extreme closeup of the arm stack!
