A solid outfit choice, although I am sure people will critique that it is not “festive” enough (but I personally don’t like theme dressing and am wearing a black and purple sweater right now lol). I am surprised she doesn’t wear more VB, given that she is British and designs with the type of minimalist aesthetic. I absolutely love that purse although it is not very practical.

Merry Christmas OG SG!! I recall reading that while Meghan likes VB’ s clothes they don’t always look great on her because she’s short waisted and VB’s items fit women with long waists, like Kate. I’m assuming that since pregnancy has done away with her waist for the time being, now would be a perfect time for her to rock VB’s designs 🙂
That purse is an absolute goal for me but sadly not large enough to accomodate glasses 🙁 I don’t know why handbag designers don’t design for those of us who need to wear specs?

There are reports that Victoria Beckham’s fashion “empire” has suffered losses in the millions this past year. I don’t think it a coincidence that MM is wearing head to toe Beckhman today; maybe in an attempt to boost VB’s flagging brand.
I’m sure you’re right that she is trying to help a friend. And I’m sure she regrets ever mentioning a problem with VB’s designs. She a being honest but she looks great and VB needs a boost.

I just love the royal Christmas walk to church, it’s always fun to see so much royal fashion in one place! I do want to start by saying that Lady Louise looked lovely this morning, her monochromatic look added a bit of maturity to her look, while staying perfectly appropriate for her age. I also loved HM’s outfit today, very festive without screaming Christmas and isn’t that brooch to die for?! On to Meghan, I loved this outfit from head to toe with a purse that I covet!! I think navy blue is a lovely color on Meghan and I also like the mixture of navy and black, navy being a color that “goes” with just about any other color. I’m thrilled that Meghan is able to stick to her own sense of style since becoming a Duchess, with a few fits and starts here and there 🙂 and now with a baby on the way it’s wonderful that she hasn’t succumb to the dreaded ruffles, Peter Pan collars and lacey things that so many designers feel a pregnant woman should wear.
I did want to share with MM and her lovely readers that Mr. Lauri gifted me the Shaun Leane Serpentine bracelet just like the one that Meghan has!! I’m wearing it right now and am loving it! It’s such an unusual piece but can be dressed up or down so I feel that I’ll be wearing it for years to come.

I loved her look today! I know some criticized the dark look as being predictable and not festive enough, but I personally love (and wear) alot of dark colors and think they look really great on MM. I also suspect she makes her best effort not to outshine higher ranking royals with her looks. She clearly let Kate take center stage with the brighter look today, which was the respectful thing to do.
Yes Meghan looks just lovely and navy blue certainly is a favourite colour. Love the hat but I do like a more festive colour, Kate was stunning in red. Still Meghan has her own sense of style and that will become more apparent over time. I would like to see her in red though she wouldn’t want to clash with Kate.

I’ll start by saying Duchess Meghan looks so happy and radiant. Since I love a unique facinator, the Awon Golding ‘Vika’ Cocktail Hat is the perfect topper for Christmas day.
I had to take a few looks at the outfit to decide how I felt about it. Overall, there are touches (like those fab Victoria Beckham boots!) that are very nice. I can see that she might not have wanted anything too Christmas-themed or bright, BUT the dark ensemble isn’t doing it for me. All the pieces are very nice and she’s wearing them well, but I just wish she had gone for a jewel toned green or brighter blue (and a coat with some gold accents/buttons because I personally like this look on the holidays).

Appreciate your hard work over the year…great detailed coverage. Just one comment: I was confused by the headline “Meghan Joins the Royal Family for Christmas Day.” That would have made sense last year, but Meghan is part of the royal family now so she wasn’t really “joining” them. She should be there and we should expect to see her every year as the Duchess of Sussex.
Meghan has taken on a huge responsibility for which I have the utmost respect. Let’s give her the recognition she deserves; she’s not an outsider any longer.

I absolutely loved Meghan’s ensemble from last year–it was just perfect. And I like this year’s coat and dress. I love the boots. But she’s going to a church service celebrating Christmas with the entire royal family and she appears to be dressed for a funeral. The hat seems inappropriate –the description actually says it’s a cocktail hat. If only there was a spot of color somewhere it’d make this more festive. Sorry guys, don’t blast me; this is just my opinion.
I wonder if the earings could be Missoma gold pave hoops. The come in different sizes, small and medium.
