Meghan and Harry made their widely anticipated public début as a couple today, attending a tennis match at the Invictus Games in Toronto together.
The crowds were treated to not only a great match put on by the veterans, but to a display of the obvious affection that is shared by the couple.
Before we get to the fashion, we believe this is a hugely important step in Harry and Meghan’s relationship. The fact that Meghan yesterday attended the Opening ceremonies with three royal PPOs in tow (Personal Protection Officers, for those who don’t know, are British taxpayer-funded bodyguards and are typically only brought out when relationships are very serious or an engagement has already happened) and the fact that Meghan attended this event with Harry – an official event nonetheless – is a huge step and one that has many royal watchers believing that an engagement has already taken place behind closed doors and will be announced shortly. Only time will tell…
Let’s get to the clothes, shall we?
Shirt: Misha Nonoo Husband Shirt
Shoes: Sarah Flint Natalie Flats
Jeans: Mother Denim Looker Ankle Fray Distressed Jeans
Bag: Everlane Market Day Tote (Interestingly, this bag is not only affordable, but it’s also been seen on celebrities like Angelina Jolie)
Earrings: Zofia Day Dash Ear Studs
Bracelet: TBC, possibly Sia Taylor’s Dot Bracelet (Thanks MM reader Maggie)
Sunglasses: Monogrammed Finlay & Co Percy Sunglasses
What did you think of the couple out together in public? Did you love it?
We love how comfortable Meghan looked while knowing the eyes of the world were on her. She was relaxed, smiling and genuinely had a great time at the event with Harry.
We here at MM like to think that has something to do with how comfortable she is with her amazing style, which we think was the perfect look for the event.

Any details on the sunglasses, rings, or jeans? I know it says likely this pair but nothing is linked. Thanks so much!

HI Taylor! The jeans are Mother Denim and we think the sunnies are Finlay & Co – will keep everyone posted as we find more details!

So glad you thought the look was perfect, I keep reading others who just don’t get it! Meghan is one of the planet ‘s most assured wearers of jeans with white shirt and this is perfect with (very ladylike) matching bag and shoes.
Love those flats to bits and sorry not to able to find a UK supplier for the tote – it can only be a matter of time! Btw is it possible this is the first time a royal companion has worn torn jeans for public event?
The couple look so great together and it”s great to give this tremendous event such epic publicity. Thanks for the post

Looks like she’s wearing that little bracelet again, so I wonder if it is special? Now I’m ready for the wedding dress!

I want that bracelet!!! I wonder if it’s a gift from Harry, seeing that she wore it Saturday night and again today?!

I totally LOVED this! YAY!!! I’ve been waiting MONTHS for this moment! And so unexpected; public PDA from a Royal? But I guess we can expect anything from wonderful Harry.

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! I’m so excited to see these pics!

Looove seeing them together!! I adore her classic style! I do think ripped jeans may not have been an appropriate choice for one of her first official events with harry, but regardless her style is timeless and she always looks great. Well done.

I admit that I don’t get ripped jeans. I like worn jeans but only if they’re naturally worn. But she looked wonderful. I think she would look great in anything and dresses to blend in while lloking good. So glad Harry found her instead of what he had before.
Maggie says
I think her bracelet might be the “Big Dot” bracelet by Sia Taylor in yellow gold. Not sure though.

Hi Maggie,
GREAT find. It’s possible, but it’s very hard to confirm. Our question with this bracelet is that it doesn’t have the dangling part at the end like Meghan’s. Maybe she looped it, or had a custom version made though – we have reached out to the designer for confirmation!
Thanks for sharing your find! In either case, it’s a fabulous #MirrorMeg! xo
Allison says
I looked up the designer and found an African connection, so that might explain the bracelet, perhaps custom-made?
Jewellery designer Sia Taylor is a rare breed of artisan. Combining classical Fine Arts training with a holistic and sensitive approach, her designs evoke an old-world craftsmanship rarely found in modern design. After completing her studies at Newcastle University followed by an MA at the Royal College of Art – Taylor went to live in Africa, producing her first collection on a workbench under the shade of a Thorn tree in the Botswanan bush.

I love this outfit and actually plan on wearing my JCrew linen button up shirt (same one that Meghan has) tomorrow, as a small token of celebration in seeing these two together!

LOVE everything about her looks at the Invictus games! I was lucky enough to snag her Everlane bag in the same beautiful brown as her!
Any “steal” versions of the bracelet that you know of? Totally going to go broke with her incredible style!
